''Dekh Magar Pyaar Say'' Star Cast (Humaima Malick and Noor Jahan Grandsoon's Sikander Rizvi)
The Dekh Magar Pyar Say slogan, found
emblazoned across the back of many a bus and rickshaw, conjures up
imagery no less intense than a colour riot. So we were surprised to see a
subdued, sepia-toned first look poster of Asad-ul-Haq’s directorial
debut of the same name.
But that wasn’t the only surprise in store for us. The poster reveals
the lead cast of the film to be none other than Humaima Malick, for
whom this will be a second local release, and restaurateur Sikander
Rizvi, who will make his acting debut in this film. Rizvi is also known
to be acting in Yalghaar, but DMPS is expected to release earlier in August this year.“Dekh Magar Pyaar Say will be featuring a spanking brand new outlook on the traditional romantic movie, one that is filled with twists, turns, surprises and everything in between, all the while debunking established clichés associated with the romance genre,” promises Asad-ul-Haq.
He further added that he had envisioned an avant-garde look for the film, which is “anchored in an uber-stylised contemporary hyper reality”.
Styling and make-up expert Saima Rashid Bargfrede has been roped in as the film’s official styling partner, while Hassan Sheheryar Yasin will be the Creative and Fashion Design Director. Journalist and Karachi, You’re Killing Me! novelist Saba Imtiaz has written the script, and Nicholas D. Knowland, who also shot Jinnah, will be shooting the film.
Pakistani Actor Fawad Khan Said No To Bold Scenes With Alia Bhatt
Fawad Khan has made a name for himself in India in a very brief period of time. Fawad Khan has already won awards in India and signed at least two more major projects after his first Bollywood film Khoobsurat. In his next Bollywood flick “Kapoors And Sons” Fawad Khan was reportedly asked to shoot some very intimate scenes with his co-star Aliya Bhatt but according to news Fawad Khan has asked the producers to tone these scenes down because he does not feel comfortable getting this intimate to any one on screen.
According to Mirror Mumbai, “Fawad is not comfortable with the idea of getting physical in reel life. Fawad is extremely sensitive to the sensibilities of his conservative countrymen and has told Shakun and Karan to water down the scene, to rely on allusion rather than actual action. And during his next visit to Mumbai they will sit down and work together on the scene to ensure that it does not spark off any controversy later.”
Khans of Bollywood is on Sunny Leone's ''Bucket List'
She's aware that some popular actors have refused to work with her due to her past body of work as a porn star, but Indo-Canadian talent Sunny Leone has no regrets. She is focussed on making people take her "seriously as an actress", and says she'd love to work with Bollywood's Khan trio.
Sunny, who entered Indian showbiz first via reality show "Bigg Boss 5", went on to bag a role in "Jism 2", and from then on, starred in films like "Jackpot" and "Ragini MMS 2". She has gyrated to item numbers like "Laila", "Pink lips" and "Baby doll" and has already hosted a TV show "MTV Splitsvilla".
Now geared up for her new releases "Ek Paheli Leela" and "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai", Sunny is quite gung-ho.
She says she's not here to compete with the Khans.
"I want to work with them... Salman, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, they are huge megastars. I have met Shah Rukh he is a nice man, Aamir is in my bucket list, if I get a chance to work with Salman, I would love to work with him," Sunny told IANS.
Her "Ek Paheli Leela" director has been talking about how some big names refused to work with Sunny in the film. And it's natural for the 33-year-old to feel bad about it, but she says "I don't see it that way. I just look forward to whatever I like to do. If actors don't want to be part of a project because of me, what can I do? I can't do anything about it. Everything happens for a reason in life.
"Of course, I feel bad. But I can't erase my past, nor do I want to. After each film, I pray that people take me more seriously as an actress," she added.
She says her film "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai" is a family film, and it's perhaps her first 'UA' rated film.
"My next is a family film with Ram Kapoor and I think the first movie that comes out as a 'U' rated film... After my song 'Baby doll', I have many young fans," said the actress, who went all out to promote "Ek Paheli Leela".
She says she was a "baby" when she joined the film industry, but now she has "learnt to walk" the path in filmdom.
"The set is my workshop and I learn something from there everyday. I learn many things when I am on the sets," she said.
''Anushka Sharma'' visited Virat's Family in New Delhi
Anushka Sharma apparently visited beau Virat Kohli's home in New Delhi to meet his family members.
The Kohli family had apparently made sure that the house was turned into a fortress with heavy security before her visit.
The buzz is that the couple also went out for dinner that day. There is news that Anushka Sharma might accompany Virat Kohli for Suresh Raina's wedding in the capital on April 3.
